The “Diamond Shields” competition is a regular event that takes place during the spring editions of the congress. The Grand Gala, at which the winners of the 2025 competition will be announced, will take place on May 25, 2026, at 8:30 p.m. (8:00 p.m. registration and welcome drink) at ZEN.COM EXPO Rzeszów-Jasionka.

The “Diamond Shields” competition is a unique event that aims to honor and recognize outstanding achievements, innovation, and commitment in the field of national security and defense. This prestigious award brings together leading experts, leaders, and innovators who contribute to strengthening national security, raising security standards, and developing modern defense technologies. The competition also celebrates social engagement and strategic initiatives for the stability and resilience of the country in the face of contemporary threats.

Competition entries are free of charge and will be accepted from
January 28 to April 15, 2026.
Security Pioneer
The award honors the person of the year who, through their activities, achievements, or leadership, has significantly contributed to improving security in Poland. It is intended for representatives of the government, the military, non-governmental organizations, industry experts, and individuals involved in security activities at the local or national level.
Crisis Management Leader
An award for local governments, emergency services, government agencies, NGOs, and companies in the crisis management sector that excel in planning, coordinating, and managing crisis situations, such as natural disasters, terrorist threats, or pandemics.
Security Innovator*
An award for solution providers who have made a significant contribution to the development of the cybersecurity sector, achieving notable success in protecting IT systems and personal data, and in counteracting cyberattacks.
Critical Infrastructure Security*
This category recognizes innovative solutions, technologies, strategies, and initiatives that contribute to increasing the resilience and protection of critical systems. The competition is open to companies that have developed innovative security methods, implemented effective threat monitoring and response systems, or contributed to raising awareness and preparedness for crisis incidents. For energy, transport, telecommunications, and water supply companies, as well as institutions responsible for public health and safety.
Security Made in Poland*
An award for Polish entities that contribute to the development of local protection and security systems independent of external technology suppliers, as well as create innovations based on domestic know-how, contributing to the development of technological sovereignty for national security.

Deadline for submitting nominations: April 15, 2026.
