Prior to becoming President of ComCERT S.A., he was, among other things, the author of software for state bodies protected under classified information regulations. He worked with government administration offices, joint government administrative bodies and public finance sector units, including state public-law institutions.

In 2016-2017, co-founder and Member of the Board of Directors of Aplikacje Krytyczne, a company owned by the Ministry of Finance, which develops analytical information systems to support the Tax Administration and other state bodies in criminal-fiscal activities and countering financial irregularities. In 2017-2019, served as a Board Member of the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS), overseeing the maintenance and development of IT systems processing data of over 25 million ZUS clients and transactions valued at over PLN 300 billion annually. Responsible for the digital implementation of the 2017 pension reform and other national projects: centralization of social contribution payments (e-Skladka), digitization of employee files (e-Akta) and digitization of sick leave (e-ZLA).

He served as a Member of the Digitization Council appointed by the Minister of Digitization, a Member of the Scientific Council of NASK, and an Advisor to the Steering Committee of the electronic ID card (e-ID) project – being appointed jointly by the Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration, the Minister of Digitization and the Minister of Health. He served as an advisor to the Presidents of selected state-owned companies. He is a member of the Scientific and Expert Council for Cyber Security at the Police Academy in Szczytno. He is a forensic expert qualified in the fields of IT, reverse engineering, cybersecurity, and IT copyright law.

Over 10 years of international experience in IT Security in multinational corporations. MA in Psychology and postgraduate diploma in Psychological Diagnosis in Clinical Practice. Qualified in Information Security projects and Information Security Governance at Regional and Global Level. Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) by ISACA.

Director of the IT Infrastructure and Security Department, CISO; P4 sp. z o.o.
Graduate of the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology at the Warsaw University of Technology and IESE Business School – University of Navarra (Advanced Management Program). From the beginning of his career associated with the development of the ICT sector in Poland. At P4 sp. z o.o. he deals with the area of ​​IT infrastructure, asset and supplier management as well as aspects related to cyber threats, business continuity and risk management. 

Head of IT/OT Cybersecurity division, ORLEN Termika
Graduate of the Lublin University of Technology and postgraduate studies at the Warsaw University of Technology. Associated with the energy industry since 2008. Has many years of experience in maintenance and project management in the automation industry and SCADA/DCS systems. Since 2018 in the area of IT and OT Cybersecurity. As a project manager, he was responsible for practical implementation of the NIS Directive in the OT environment in one of the biggest Polish companies from the Energy Sector. Since 2023, he has been leading the ORLEN Termika S.A. Cybersecurity team.

Since 2025, Vice President of the Management Board of ComCERT S.A., a company belonging to the Asseco Group, responsible for the development of cybersecurity services and projects.
In 2020–2024, he served as a member of the management board (CIO) of Polska Wytwórnia Papierów Wartościowych S.A., where he was responsible for IT infrastructure, software development, cybersecurity, internal IT operations, and secure document production. In this role, he oversaw the national infrastructure for issuing driving licenses throughout Poland and the functioning of PWPW’s internal SOC.
Previously, as Director of the Document Personalization Center at the Ministry of the Interior and Administration, he was responsible for the national infrastructure for issuing identity documents and the implementation of projects co-financed by the European Union in the field of security and digitization. Within the structures of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration, he also served as the Minister’s Plenipotentiary for Cybersecurity and Head of the ICT Infrastructure Security Department.
He was the leader and manager of the national e-ID system project, one of the key digital initiatives of the public administration, which implemented a modern electronic ID card with an electronic signature function and secure authentication of citizens in e-government services.

ICT Strategy & Business Development, Orange Poland

An expert in advanced ICT solutions, including the Internet of Things and cybersecurity, with over 20 years of experience in developing and implementing them for both domestic and international companies.

Responsible for Orange Polska’s offerings, which, in addition to cybersecurity and 5G, include advanced network and communication solutions, as well as IT solutions covering both hardware and software. Also develops innovative business solutions based on modern cloud technologies, the Internet of Things, and artificial intelligence.

Robert Pławiak – Since November 2022 as Chief Digital&Technology&Information Office in Polpharma, Poland. He is responsible for all aspects of digitalization, and technology areas of IT&OT processes in the most significant pharma manufactures. In the last four years (2018-2022), as the President and Group CIO, he implemented many changes in business processes in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. He contributed to the construction of a new system for the distribution of vaccines against COVID-19 in Poland, and optimized business processes based on implementing and modernizing IT solutions, including WMS, TMS, and ERP. In the Pelion Group, he was responsible for M&A processes and completed the transfer of the management of the Swedish pharmacy network and the IT ecosystem to Poland.
Additionally, Robert is involved in expanding NGO in Poland as President of the IT LEADER CLUB POLSKA foundation. During the last ten years, was established well knows IT Academy for public sector employees that can graduate MBA level. He is a graduate of the computer systems course at the Military Technical Academy in Warsaw and MBA studies at the Warsaw School of Economics. In 2022 he finished studies at Cambridge University School in the field of Digital Disruption Transformation and Strategy. He has broad management and leadership experience reaching nearly 20 years in insurance, banking, leasing, pharmacy, and healthcare. It was gained by managing computerization processes and projects, cybersecurity, and building and deploying IT strategy in insurance and financial state institutions in Poland.
In his career so far, Robert Pławiak was related, among others, to the PZU Group (PZU SA, PZU Życie SA), the EFL Group, Bank Handlowy S.A., Inteligo Financial Services S.A., EFG Eurobank Ergasias S.A. (PolbankEFG brand), FunduszMikro Sp. z o.o. , FM BANK S.A., Raiffeisen Bank Poland S.A. He is also an active member of the PMI International&Polska, ISACA, and ISSA associations, and an active speaker at many IT conferences in Poland organized by PMI, ISACA, ISSA, Puls Biznesu, Rzeczpospolita. In the above companies, Robert Pławiak was developing and implementing IT strategies and team transformations and digital transformations in technology divisions subordinated to him. He was leading and acquiring IT projects on an international scale. Moreover, he was responsible for optimization and increasing cost efficiency in IT. As Chief Information Officer in the EFL Group, he was responsible for the development and implementation of the IT strategy, and IT transformation in the years 2017-2020, as well as the construction and implementation of the corporate architecture strategy and IT sourcing in the companies that are part of the EFL Group.
